HALLMAN, Franklin Ray Franklin Ray Hallman, a dearly loved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, passed from this world on September 28, 2019 in Austin, TX. Frank and his identical twin, Fred, were born in Abilene, TX on September 18, 1937. Frank fondly talked of his adventures with Fred growing up during those years in Paint Rock, Eden, and Menard. Frank and Fred graduated from Menard High School in 1956. Frank then attended and graduated from Texas A & M with a degree in Civil Engineering and forever remained a fanatical Aggie. He married Carmen Tamayo on August 19, 1961 in Dallas, TX. They had two sons, Mark and Richard, whom they raised in Garland, TX. Frank was in the construction business for 35 years, working alongside his brother Sandy for the first part of that career. After retiring in 1997 from the construction business, Frank and Carmen worked for Exor, which was co-owned by their son Mark. Starting in 2000, Frank tried his hand at ranching in Dublin, TX prior to retiring for a second time. Upon that retirement, Carmen and Frank moved to Sun City in Georgetown, where they made many new friends and Frank enjoyed golfing. Frank always had a twinkle in his eye, was an experienced pilot, holding multiple ratings, and was a proud Eagle Scout. He lived a wonderful life, and those who knew him were better for having him in theirs. Frank is survived by his wife, Carmen - Austin, TX, their sons and spouses Mark and Kelly - Fredericksburg, TX, Richard and Kelly - Austin, TX, brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Marilyn Hallman - Caddo, OK. Also remembering Frank are niece Suzanne Hallman Cortez - Trophy Club, TX, nephews and their spouses, Steve and Dawn, Scott and Karen, Ron and Teena Solomon, and sister-in-law, Mary Esther Ahuero, her husband, Manuel - Hacienda Heights, CA and nephew Stephen Ahuero - San Jose, CA. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, I.C. and Neva Hallman, son Phillip Hallman, brother Sandy Hallman, sister Delia [Hallman] Solomon, nephews Jerry Solomon.
