OCTOBER 8, 1957 ~ OCTOBER 7, 2019 (AGE 61)
Steven Allen Burton went to be with the Lord on October 7, 2019 in Houston, Texas. Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm, Friday, October 11, 2019 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home with Rev. Dick Gilbert officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco. A Visitation with the family will be 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Thursday, October 10 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.
Steve was born October 8, 1957 in San Antonio, Texas to Helen G. Smith and James E. Burton Jr (deceased). He married his childhood sweetheart Kathy Burton nee: Brown after high school. After high school, they became Aggies while he attended Texas A&M University, class of 1981. He dedicated his life to industry safety as a process safety manager. He loved his school and his family, but those were a close second to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Steve is survived by Kathy, his wife of 43 years and his big time daddy’s girl, Brittany, his sister Linda Burton, brother Bill Burton, and numerous nieces and nephews.
