William L. Kiel

On Tuesday, Sept. 10, William L. Kiel a long time resident of Vincent, and a loving husband and father of two children, passed away at the age of 72.

William was born on Oct. 16, 1946 in Brenham, Texas to Lloyd and Catherine Kiel. He joined the Navy at the age of 17 and served in Vietnam. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas.

William began his career in the oil and gas industry in Texas and Alaska then branched out into training, performance, and management development in Birmingham and Saudi Arabia. In addition to his career, William occasionally taught Sunday School in Vincent and Harpersville.

William is survived by his wife of 46 years, Wanda; his daughters, Christina and Michelle; and his brothers, John and David Kiel.

The family will be holding a private memorial. No public services are planned.
