Travis Culberson Gray
OCTOBER 22, 1992 – SEPTEMBER 27, 2019
On September 27, 2019, Travis Culberson Gray passed away unexpectedly due to natural causes. Travis was born and raised in Texas. He enjoyed spending time at his beloved family ranch where he learned to work hard and play hard alongside his friends and family. As a young man, he attended Grapevine High School and upon graduation in 2011, he was accepted into Texas A&M University. During his tenure, Travis earned first a bachelor’s degree in Accounting in 2015, then a master’s degree in Finance in 2016 and subsequently became a CPA. While at Texas A&M he met many of his lifelong friends and the love of his life Caroline Neal. His exceedingly full life in college included participation in Ol’ Army Gentlemen’s Society where his passion for life was evident to all. Throughout his school and college life he was uniquely blessed to have his younger brother Zane by his side for many of his adventures of boyhood. Following college, he went to work for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Houston, embarking on a successful and promising career in accounting. Just this past February, he joined Nalco Champion, where he furthered his career in finance.

Travis lived life to the fullest and was blessed to experience a loving family, loyal friends, and a true love. Most importantly, Travis was committed to our Lord and Savior and just as other commitments he made, he was loyal and steadfast. His friends and family saw him as bigger than life and we know he’ll be awaiting our arrival with his Grandfather, whose name he shared, smiling and anxious to give us one of his welcoming, playful bear hugs.

A memorial service honoring Travis’ life will be held on Friday, October 11, 2019 at 1:00 pm in the main sanctuary of White’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Southlake, Texas. Reception following. Travis was a loving, wonderful son and brother to many, a friend to everyone he met, and had a smile that would brighten even the darkest room. He was kind. He was smart. He loved the Lord. We will miss you every moment until we see you again, Trav.
