~Bryan Fisher III~

SHINER: Bryan P. Fisher III, age 64, completed his work on earth Monday, September 2, 2019. He was born February 12, 1955 in San Juan, Texas to the late Bryan Porch Fisher II and Mary Edna (Ehrhardt) Fisher.

He was an avid reader from a young age, which was a blessing and a curse for those that encountered him. His objective views of people and the world were well known by all because he was sure to let you know. His razor-sharp wit and an extra dry sense of humor will be missed by most, but maybe not all.

He graduated from Texas A&M with an electrical engineering degree and was a true entrepreneur in business. He owned and operated Retro-Mation as a specialized computer programmer. He was also an active member of the community, having previously served as director of Half Moon Holidays.

World traveled, he instilled his love of travel into his family. The Fisher family was dragged across the country for hours by car, going to the same places he had been, continually claiming he had already been there before. Bryan would always one-up his daughter on trips across the map and at home. Eventually, he taught her all his witty quips and smart remarks and the student became the master.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Sharon (Janssen) Fisher of Shiner; daughter, Tiffany (Fisher) Miller and husband, Capt. USAF David Miller of Minot, North Dakota.

Preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial Service 10 a.m., Saturday, September 14, 2019 at UDML Lutheran Church in Shiner with Rev. Chris Heinold officiating.

Memorials may be given to Texas A&M Scholarship Fund for Electrical Engineering, Shiner Public Library, Shiner Police Dept. for Public Safety , or Shiner UDML Lutheran Church.
