Daniel Albert Holtzman, age 47, of Plainfield, Illinois passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, August 8, 2019. He was born on May 1, 1972 in Des Plaines, Illinois.

Dan is a graduate of Waukesha North High School, University of Wisconsin, Madison and received his MBA from Texas A&M. He worked for CarMax for 22 years.

He is survived by his loving wife, Karla (nee Ihrke) Holtzman; son, Joey Holtzman; son, Chase Holtzman; father, Daniel C. (Friend Karen) Holtzman; sister, Yvette (Luke) Ardis; brother, Jason (Felicita) Holtzman; brother, Nick (Myra) Holtzman; brother, Pete Holtzman; mother-in-law, JoAnn Ihrke; sister-in-law, Renea (Dylan) Mackay; sister-in-law, Heather (Chris) Osborn; nieces and nephews, Jake and Jessica Ardis, Estella, Nia, Nico, Lemmy and Iommi Holtzman, Lauren and Ethan Osborn, and many loving friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nilda (nee Rodriguez) Holtzman.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Homes & Crematory, 24021 Royal Worlington Drive, Naperville. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, August 19, 2019, 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Immaculate, 15629 South Route 59, Plainfield, Illinois. Interment private.

Memorials in Dan’s name may be made to an Education Fund for Joey and Chase or to the National Brain Tumor Society.
