Elizabeth Galindo Walzel, age 59, of Sandia, Texas passed away on June 2, 2019 with her family by her side. She was born to Elizabeth Hume Galindo and Carlos Manuel Galindo on January 14, 1960.

Elizabeth graduated from Alice High School and went on to earn her Bachelors Degree in Business Marketing from Texas A&M University in 1982.

She was married to Allen Dean Walzel in 1986. Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Allen, as well as her daughters, Meg Hammock (Joey Hammock,) and Elise Holland (Joe Holland,) and grandchildren, Megan and Joseph Holland. Her siblings also survive her, Robert Galindo, Pat Basile, and Charles Galindo.

Elizabeth lived a full life, and she never met a stranger. She was vibrant, loving, and always eager to have fun. She was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind beautiful memories for her loved ones to cherish.

The Rosary for Elizabeth will be recited at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel at 7:00 pm on Thursday, June 6, 2019 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Her family will be available for visitation prior to the Rosary from 5:30-6:30 pm.

The Funeral Mass will be the following day at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 16602 FM 624, Robstown, Texas on June 7, 2019 at 10:00 am. Her graveside service will take place immediately afterward, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Robstown, Texas.

Elizabeth’s legacy will be celebrated by all who knew her for countless years to come.
