Linda Marie Rocha
March 6, 1966 - June 4, 2014

Linda Marie Rocha, age 48, was reunited with the Lord on June 4, 2014. She peacefully passed with her loving husband of fourteen years, Roberto Javier Rocha, at her side. Linda was born on March 6, 1966.

She was preceded in death by her loving mother, Edna Cecilia Cardwell Longoria, and father-in-law, Hector O. Rocha, Sr. She was also preceded in death by her close friends, Delma Sierra and Mary Longoria Lozano.

She is survived by her dedicated and loving husband, Roberto Javier Rocha, and by her sons, Fernando Trevino, Jr. (fiancée Danielle Chavez), Adrian Francisco Trevino, and Noah Robert Rocha. She is also survived by her precious father, Rodolfo Longoria and Carolina Martinez; brother, John Longoria; and mother-in-law, Lydia Torres Rocha. Her sisters-in-law surviving her are Cynthia Rocha Frausto (Ramiro), Bianca Rocha Del Rio (Martin), Lydia Yvonne “Bonnie” Rocha, and Ida Monique Rocha; and brother-in-law, Hector Rocha, Jr. (Sylvia). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
Linda was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, and daughter for her family. She committed herself to her children in raising them through the Roman Catholic Christian faith and instilled in them a strong discipline yet loving family values. Linda enjoyed working with the youth and taught math classes for a number of years at the local school district and for some time at Vela Middle School in Brownsville, Texas. Linda truly enjoyed joyous times with her boys and did not allow any obstacle, including her illness, to interfere with providing them a great opportunity for a beautiful life. She will be missed by her family and friends, leaving beautiful memories of her infectious smile, great humor and loving demeanor.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Recitation of the Holy Rosary 7:00 PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2014 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Pallbearers are Hector Rocha, Jr., Martin Del Rio, Xavier Galindo, Reynaldo Guerrero, Jesus Cortez, and Sean Fisher.

Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
