Ronnie Lee Fenley
JUNE 13, 1948 – JUNE 29, 2019

Ronnie “Ron” Lee Fenley, 71, of Lane City, Texas, entered into rest on the 29th of June 2019. He was born in Lubbock, Texas on the 13th of June 1948 to parents Billy Fenley and Virginia Hill.
Ron Fenley was a veteran of the United States Army. He enlisted in 1972 and faithfully served his country for several years, during which time he earned a National Defense Service Medal, and later was honorably discharged from active service. He went on to graduate from the University of Texas A&M, from which he received a Bachelor of Science degree.

He had a career in the oil & gas industry under Getty Oil and later Texaco as a computer engineer for over 20 years. His love of learning and tinkering gave him the inspiration to spend many hours building and programming his and his family’s personal computers. In his spare time he was always watching his favorite science fiction movies and TV shows.

He is survived by his children Michael Bryan Fenley and Michelle Rae Murphy; grandchildren Collin Michael Fenley, Madison Jane Fenley, and step-granddaughter Kaitlynn Drew Murphy; siblings Dana Leon Fenley and Billy Michael Fenley. He was preceded in passing by his parents Billy Fenley and Virginia Hill, and his son Richard Lawrence Fenley.

Services will be arranged under the care of American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038.
