Johnnie A Moore
May 30, 1940 - June 20, 2019
Johnnie A. Moore passed away at his home in Medina on Thursday, June 20, 2019 after an extended illness. He was 79 years old.
Johnnie was born in Corpus Christi, Texas to Zola Hester Moore and John Moore on May 30, 1940. On August 12, 1961 he was united in marriage to Judith Hall in Corpus Christi, Texas. They have been residents of Medina since 1983. Johnnie served his country honorably in the United States Army. He and Judy served God as faithful members of
the Medina United Methodist Church.
Johnnie is survived by his wife of 57 years, Judy; sister Martha Jenkins; numerous nieces and nephews; also great nieces and nephews as well as extended family members and treasured friends.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to Peterson Hospice and all who were so caring and compassionate during this difficult time.
A memorial service will be held Monday, June 24, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Medina United Methodist Church with Rev. Bill Stegemueller officiating.
Those who desire, may make memorial gifts in Johnnie’s name to Peterson Hospice, Medina United Methodist Church or the Medina Library.
