James Earle Freeman, III
September 30, 1951 - May 9, 2019
James “Earle” Freeman III, son of Margie Lee Morrow Freeman and James Earle Freeman II, was called by God for his next great adventure on Thursday, May 9, 2019, at the young age of 67. He was lifted peacefully into the hands of The Lord in Boerne, Texas, surrounded
by love.
Born September 30, 1951, in Houston, Texas, he embodied Dylan Thomas’ poem written for his father in 1951 “Do Not go Gentle into That Good Night.” Earle lived every moment of life to its fullest with unsurpassed energy and strength. A shooting Star streaking
across the sky touching all blessed to be in his path. Earle’s love of his family was at the center of his every thought and action. Graduating from Texas A & M University, class of 1975, he was quoted many times as “never letting school get in the way of
his education”. Earle loved people, but his true gift was the “Pied Piper” of animals that were innately drawn to him. His passions were many and varied from horses, bull riding, ranching, hunting, and of course his extensive years in the Oil and Gas industry
(his second family).
