Peter Robert Kley
JULY 3, 1963 – JUNE 1, 2019
Peter "Pete" Robert Kley was born on Wednesday July 3, 1963 in Middleborough, Massachusetts to Robert Carl Kley Jr., and Sally Jean Kley. He passed on Saturday June 1, 2019 in Plano, Texas. Pete grew up in Lexington, Massachusetts and Plano, Texas with his younger sister Paula J. Conner. He was a proud Eagle Scout.
He graduated from Plano Senior High in 1981. He attended Texas A&M and graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1989. This led him to his career of becoming a architectural draftsman for CBJeni Homes
Peter wanted to enjoy life to its fullest during the time he had here. That time was spent with his beloved family and pets. He married his life partner Diane (Behne) Kley in 1985. Together they had one daughter, Samantha Lynn Battleson and a son, Dylan Gregory Kley.
He loved classic cars, Aggie Football and the Dallas Cowboys. You would often find him listening to classic rock or watching Graveyard Cars, Game of Thrones. He will fondly be remembered for his good sense of humor and the way he always gave shrewd advice. Pete will be greatly missed.
Peter Robert Kley is survived by both parents, Robert Carl Kley Jr., and Sally Jean Kley. His beloved wife Diane Behne Kley. His daughter, Samantha Lynn (Battleson) Kley and husband Robert Joseph Battleson. His son Dylan Gregory Kley. One much cherished granddaughter, Elizabeth Ann Battleson. His sister Paula J. (Connor) Kley and brother-in-law, Gary Connor from Pecos, Texas. His dog, Ellie the lab.
