Rodger K. Adams
Birth Date: August 29, 1928 Death Date: May 19, 2019

Rodger K. Adams was reunited with his beloved wife, Jeanne, and with his Savior Jesus Christ on May 19, 2019.

Rodger was born on August 29, 1928, in Greenville, TX. He moved to Dallas when he was 15 years old and met his future wife at Woodrow Wilson High School. He and Jeanne were inseparable until her death in 2016. They were married for 63 years.

Rodger went to college at Texas A&M and was a proud Aggie. He played trombone in the Aggie band and was a member of the corps. Most of his career was spent as a tax accountant at Mobil Oil, where he retired in 1985 after 34 years.

After retirement, Rodger and Jeanne spent many years traveling all over the world; both in the US and across Europe. Their favorite destination was spending the summers traveling all over Alaska and the Yukon in their 30 foot Avion mobile home. He loved to fish for salmon and halibut.

Rodger is survived by his daughter Sharon (husband James) and son Paul (wife Angie). He is predeceased by his parents Margaret and King Adams, and his sister Billy Lois Laughlin.
