William A. (Bill) Hillers
Aug. 17, 1931 - Jan. 8, 2019

William A. (Bill) Hillers, 87, of Tyler, Texas, passed away January 8, 2019, in Tyler surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Liverpool, Texas, (Brazoria County) to Elma Jordan Hillers and Edward Hillers. He was a graduate of Alvin High School and Texas A&M. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War both domestically as well as Morocco where he made many lifelong friendships that continued to his last days. He spent most of his working career in the accounting industry, became a CPA in 1961 and worked in various facets of accounting, mostly hospital reimbursement, having retired as director of reimbursement at ETMC. He also owned and operated a small accounting firm in Louisiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, George and Dessie Seibel; brother, Edwin Hillers; and son, Gary Hillers.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Nancy; son, Alan (Kim); son, Paul; and grandchildren, Kelsi and Andrew Hillers.
