Robert McClain Dickey, 86, went to be with our Lord on January 24, 2019. He was born to Lena Lee Pritchard and Floyd franklin Dickey on December 16, 1932, He was a long time resident of Corpus Christi, Texas having graduated from Corpus Christi Miller H\gh School in 1950. He was active in scouting ha'ling been an Eagle Scout and Order of the Arrow while growing up in Corpus Christi and a Scout Master when he lived in Laredo. He attended Del Mar College from 1950-51. Bob was In the Naval Reserves in 1950 and was called to active duty in 1952, serving on the USS Harveson until 1954.

Upon his release from the Navv he enrolled at Texas A&M College Station, graduating with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Bob was commissioned in the USAF Reserves in 1958. He served at Laredo AFB rising to Captain. He worked for Central Power & Ught/AEP In Corpus Christi and Laredo in marketing from 1950 until retirement.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents Lena and Frank Dickey and his son Robert
Dickey. He is survived by his wi,fe Mary Lynn Humble Dickey of 39 years, his daughter
Mary Beth Dickey Garia and Mary Lynn's children, David Marak, Sharon Marak Musich, John M ar ak, Elizabeth Anderson and Paul Marak, and his six grandchildren.

Bob was an active member of St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church having served on the vestry, as a chalice bearer, a lector and the men's group, affectionately known as the "Bubba Bees".

His kindness, humor and dedication will be missed by all who knew him. His family wishes to thanks Opus Care Hospice and The Palms Nursing home for their kind and constant
care.

A Celebration of his life will be held at St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church on Wednesday, January 30 at 2:30PM, with The Rev. Sean Maloney officiating. A reception will follow In the parish hall. A military honors of interment will take place at a later date.

Robert Dickey died Jan. 24, 2019. He was 86.

A Celebration of Life service will be at 2:30 p.m. Jan. 30 at St. Bartholomew Episcopal Church. Burial will follow at a later date.
