Brad Goldsmith was born in Alvarado, Texas on August 3, 1933, and passed away on July 13, 2018 in Atlanta, Georgia. He served in an Engineering Battalion stationed near the 38th Parallel during the Korean War. While in Korea, he designed facilities for the South Korean government, receiving an award from the President of South Korea. Brad became a licensed Registered Architect in Texas and other states including Georgia and Florida. He became well known and awarded for his designs, construction, and renovations of large commercial malls. He was involved in the design and construction of part of the Olympics facilities when they were held in Atlanta. While working with Delalb County in Georgia, his team designed and oversaw construction of a facility that served the legal, judicial, and correctional departments of the county. He is survived by his wife, Ellie, sons Bradley, and Robert, and four grandchildren, as well as brother Jim ‘64. There are also a niece and two nephews, who are both Aggies.
