Grant Jacson Hernandez, age 19, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019 in Austin, TX. Grant was born on April 13, 1999 in San Antonio, TX. He attended Redland Oaks Elementary, Driscoll Middle school and graduated from McArthur Highschool in 2017. Grant was attending college at A&M in College Station, Texas and was majoring in Finance at the Mays Business school. He worked at Genghis Grill during his school breaks and loved to hang out with friends and family. He liked to fish, participate in sports and played the violin from the age of 10 and enjoyed using those skills to play Mariachi music with others including Juan Ortiz and Campanas de America. He was preceded in death by his "Grandpa Pete" John Raitanen and twin brothers, Ezechiel Michael Hernandez and Jacques Michael Hernandez. Grant is survived by his mother, Kristin St. Pierre; and father, Ezechiel Hernandez. His stepdad, Simon St.Pierre; Stepmom, Sylvia Hernandez; siblings Ismael Hernandez, Cameron St.Pierre, Addison St.Pierre, Alex Olivarez and Amanda Olivarez; all of San Antonio. Grandparents, Alex Hernandez and Esperanza (Hope) Hernandez of Quincy Washington and Linda Raitanen, of Ketchikan, Alaska, Shirley St.Pierre and Yolanda Urrabas of San Antonio, Texas. He has many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who also loved him dearly with no words to express the loss of such an Outgoing, Smart, Talented, Beautiful, Kind, Young Man who will be so truly missed.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Porter Loring.
