Monroe Mirsky
May 13, 1927 - January 3, 2019
A graveside service for Monroe Mirsky, 91, of Tyler will be held on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Ahavath Achim Cemetery with Rabbi Alan Learner officiating under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home.
Mr. Mirsky passed away Thursday, January 03, 2019 in Tyler. He was born May 13, 1927 in Dallas to Alexander Mirsky and Rose Carst Mirsky.
Monroe was a member of Ahavath Achim Synagogue, a founding member of the Southern Rubber Group and a member of the American Chemical Society. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a BS in Chemical Engineering. He held the position of President with MP Industries in Tyler Texas.
Monroe was preceded in death by his wife Mary Alta Mirsky. He is survived by his loving family including four children, eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The family requests no flowers be sent. If desired, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of East Texas, 1823 CR 386, Tyler, TX 75711.
