Obituary for Bill M Poston
Bill M. Poston of Montgomery, Texas, 88, peacefully passed away in the arms of his family Saturday, December 8, 2018. Bill was born Sept. 2, 1930 in Nacogdoches, Texas to Zachary Taylor and Thursa Poston. He was raised in Baytown, Texas and is a graduate of Texas A & M University where he also received his Masters Degree in Computer Science. He proudly served in the United States Air Force for 23 years and retired in 1976 as a full Colonel. He is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Grace Alexander Poston. He is survived by his current wife of 14 years, Gladys Boyett Poston, his daughter Debi Poston, Houston, Texas, Lynda Feaga, Montgomery, Alabama and Stephen Poston, Houston, Texas. He will be lovingly remembered by nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Above all else, Bill loved his family. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed traveling and making friends around the world. He was an active member of Walden Community Church where he sang in the choir. Bill’s fun loving smile and great sense of humor are treasured by all who knew him.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Sam Houston Memorial Home, Montgomery, Texas. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 12th, 9:30 a.m. at Walden Community Church,12400 Walden Road, Montgomery, Texas 77356. A private interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to the Salvation Army or Walden Community Church.
