Michael Austin Cekosky
December 18, 1950 - November 15, 2018
Michael Austin Cekosky, 67, passed away November 15, 2018 at his home in Grand Prairie. He was born December 18, 1950 in Houston, Texas to Elmer Paul and Leora Bryan Austin Cekosky.
Michael graduated from Mr. Carmel High School in Houston, and was a graduate of Texas A&M with a degree in Building Construction. He served in the US Air Force. He had worked for Robert E. McKee builders, and Dallas ISD where he was in Facilities Maintenance. Michael enjoyed fishing, and was a member of Grand Prairie Gun Club and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Grand Prairie.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Jo Lynn Torok Cekosky; daughter, Laura Cekosky Rasberry and husband, Shawn; and his brother, Robert Cekosky.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans or St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
