Lee Burrier, age 78, died peacefully in his home on Monday, November 12, 2018, surrounded by family.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Pat Burrier; his daughter, Cheryl Brandt; his son-in-law, Jon Brandt; his cousin by marriage, Mike Harding; his pets, Bob and Lily; and, many good friends.
Born and raised in New Braunfels, Texas, he was the son of Lee Roy and Lottie Burrier.
He married Pat Guffey of Austin, Texas, at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in New Braunfels on December 26, 1959.
Lee attended Texas A&M University, where he was a member of the Corp of Cadets Company F-3, Class of 1962, graduating with a Bachelors of Business Administration. After college, he spent most of his life in San Antonio working in the tire business.
A resident of Hill Country Retreat in San Antonio until 2017, he and his wife, Pat, moved to North Padre Island in Corpus Christi a year before his death to be closer to his daughter, son-in-law, and the beach.
Lee loved more than anything his family, his pets, and last but not least, all things Aggie. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Gig 'em.
