Paul Jay Henderson

South Jordan, Utah -Paul Jay Henderson born in Nampa, ID, December 27,1936 to Paul Henderson and Freda Jorgensen, passed away November 16, 2018. He married his sweetheart Helen Kay Street June 28, 1956 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He graduated from Boise High school. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah in 1962 and received his Master’s in 1969 from Texas A&M. Paul taught mathematics for 30 years in the Granite School District. Some of his interests included camping, flying, photography, playing cards, playing trivia with his friends at Legacy Retirement Center, and spending time with his family.
Paul was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served faithfully in many leadership positions. He served with Kay in the Winnipeg Canada Mission. Paul is survived by his wife Kay, his children: Kelli, Ben (Colette), Brian (Candy), Sandra (John) Harmon, Daniel (Lisa). 19 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son, Paul David Henderson, and his grandson, Matthew David Henderson.

Paul was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 10200 S. 1300 W. A Viewing will be from 6-8 Monday, November 19, 2018 at McDougal Funeral Home 4330 S. Redwood Road and again Tuesday at the church from 10:00 to 10:45 prior to service. Interment Midway, Utah City Cemetery.
