The viewing and the funeral service is in the Sanctuary at Scotsdale Baptist Church, 10015 Lockerbie Avenue, (915) 595-2811, on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 11:30 am (viewing) and at 12:30 pm (church funeral service). The interment is at Fort Bliss National
Cemetery following the church funeral service at 2:00 pm. Upon completion of the interment, friends may join the Vogel family at the Scotsdale Baptist Church in the Multi-Purpose Room for a Memorial and a meal.
Ward Dell Vogel (88), a long-time resident of El Paso, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on October 26, 2018 after living a long life. He will be missed by many. Ward was born on March 20, 1930 in Lohn, Texas to Ernie Oscar Vogel and Lillie Grace Reeves.
Ward was married in El Paso, Texas on September 1, 1967 to Anita “Vergene” Williams for over 51 years. Ward is preceded in death by his mother and father. Ward and Vergene had no children.
Ward served in the U.S. Air Force spanning over 15 years including ROTC, active duty and reserve time from the rank of 2nd to 1st Lieutenant. He was also a veteran of the Korean Conflict. Ward was a graduate of Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Science degree in
Agronomy. Most of Ward’s public life was employed in financial management at several agricultural companies. He was a member of the Scotsdale Baptist Church and the Northeast Camp of the Gideons.
Ward was well known by many for his integrity in dealing with others.

Flowers are welcome but not required. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent to Scotsdale Baptist Church for the Gideons.
