FREDERICK KIECHLE - Age 80, a long time resident of Cedar Lake, passed away Monday, December 15, 1997. Preceded in death by his sister, Mary Jane, his son, Steven, and his wife, Ethelyn. He is survived by his daughter, Mary Jo (Randall) Viehman of Cedar Lake; 3 sons, Frederick (Linda)Kiechle of Lowell, William (Gloria) Kiechle of Sparta, WI, and James (Sandy) Kiechle of Lowell; sister, Ann (Winfred) Campbell of Big Springs, TX; 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from the Burdan Funeral Home, 12901 Wicker Avenue, Cedar Lake, Wednesday, December 17, 1997 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Hammond. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday, December 16, 1997 from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mr. Kiechle retired from the Lever Brothers Company of Whiting where he was employed as a chemical engineer. He was a member of the Buttons & Bows Square Dance Club.
