Blase Phillip Pantuso

Blase Phillip Pantuso passed away early Saturday morning, October 27, at the age of 87.
Born and raised in San Antonio, a member of San Francesco di Paola Catholic Church, he attended Bonham Elementary, Harris Middle School, Brackenridge High School, and graduated from Texas A&M University with a Chemical Engineering degree in 1954.
He married the love of his life, Ann Marie, after graduation.
His professional career included 2 years in the Army, followed by Core Lab and McKesson Chemical, and a 30+ year career in construction management, primarily with H.B. Zachry Co.
A lover of sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas A&M Aggies,
he also coached Little League Baseball and Pop Warner Football.
In his later years, he was active with the Italian Society at San Francesco,
as well as teaching RCIA at St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Ann Marie Moreau;
parents, Sam F. and Flora Pantuso, and sisters Giovanna and Lucille Pantuso.
He is survived by his 6 children: Patti Lummus (Troy), Michael Pantuso, Victor Pantuso (Tammy), Samuel Pantuso, Aimee Pantuso, and Christopher Pantuso (Terri). His extensive family includes 14 grandchildren: Kate Lynch (Sean), Rachel Lummus and Jacob Lummus;
Luke Pantuso (Jenni), Kyle Pantuso, Alexandra Pantuso and Kole Pantuso; Phillip Pantuso, Nicholas Pantuso and Patrick Pantuso; Joshua Pariseau and Gabrielle Pariseau; Kelsie Dobbins, Natalie Pantuso and Renee Pantuso. Great-grandchildren include Chad and Cade
Pantuso; James, Violet, and Weston Pariseau; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL SERVICES
Visitation will begin Thursday, November 1st at 6:00 P.M. in The Angelus Chapel,
located at 1119 N. St. Mary’s St. in San Antonio,
with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M.
Funeral Mass will be offered Friday, November 2nd at 10:00 A.M.,
with visitation to begin at 9:00 A.M., at
San Francesco di Paola Catholic Church
205 Piazza Italia
Reception immediately following in the
Christopher Columbus Italian Society Hall next door.
There will be a graveside service at Holy Cross Cemetery
located at 17501 Nacogdoches at 3:00 P.M.
