February 9, 1939 - October 24, 2018
Larry Leland Todd, 79, of College Station, passed away peacefully on the morning of Wednesday October 24, 2018. A visitation will be from 5 - 7 pm Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at Callaway-Jones Funeral Center in Bryan. A celebration of Larry's life will take place on Thursday November 1, 2018, from 11 am - 12:15 pm, also at Callaway-Jones Funeral Center. Services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers, Bryan-College Station.
Larry was born February 9, 1939, in Donna, Texas, to Aaron and Edith Todd. He graduated from Texas A&M with a B.S. in Agriculture in 1963, and received a Masters in Entomology in 1967, also from Texas A&M. After graduation, Larry spent the next 30+ years working in agricultural chemical sales and research.
Even though he fought a decades-long battle with debilitating arthritis, he will always be remembered for his sense of humor and his grace in the face of chronic pain.
Larry is preceded in death by his loving wife Carolyn Todd, his parents, and his brother Richard Todd.
Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law Jay Todd, Kyle and Meryl Todd; brother and sister-in-law Roy and Debra Todd; sister-in-law Annette Todd; nephew and nieces Sean Todd, Kathleen (Todd) Johnson, and Edie Todd.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Arthritis Foundation (www.arthritis.org).
