Robert Murray Eads, ‘52

Robert Murray Eads, 87, of Lubbock, Texas went to be with his Lord on May 24, 2018. Eads was born in Bryan, Texas on February 26, 1931 to Richard Arthur Eads and Maybell Murray Eads. He graduated from Texas A&M Consolidated High School and then from Texas A&M University in 1952 with a degree in entomology where he also attended graduate school. He served in the Korean War and the Army Reserves, retiring as a Captain. He married Alice Joan Hansen, and they had four children. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Richard Bailey Eads and William John Eads. He is survived by Alice Eads and his four children: Carol White and husband Teddy, Bobby Eads and wife Belinda, Betty Bingham and husband Cliff, Janice Henslee and husband Tom. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. A memorial service is planning for him at Texas State Veterans Cemetery at Abilene on October 19, 2018 at 11:00 am.
