GREGORY RAMSEY
RAMSEY Gregory Walz Ramsey, "Ram" died March 27, 2012 at the age of 89. He was a lifetime resident of El Paso Texas and served in World War II. He was a long-time businessman, structural engineer and co-owner of Ramsey Steel in El Paso Texas. He was a friend
to all and an excellent athlete. He was recently recognized by UTEP for his contribution as a star basketball player, winning the Border Conference Championship for the Texas College of Mines (now UTEP) in 1940 - 1941. "Ram" over the past 50 years was a constant
fixture at the Coronado County Club playing golf. He was very instrumental in the success of amateur golf in El Paso. Gregory was the son of the late William King Ramsey and Eileen Walz Ramsey. He was preceded in death by his wife Paula and his son Gregory
Walz Ramsey II, Chip. He is survived by his daughter Virginia Lynn Ramsey Stinson and four grandchildren, Allister Ramsey, Gregory Walz Ramsey III, Anthony Stinson, and Richard Walz Stinson. He is also survived by his step sons Burke and Mike Morris as well
