It is with great sadness that the family of Daren Shane Dalton, 32 of Conroe Texas announces his passing from this earth as he was welcomed home by our Lord on September 10, 2018.

Daren was an adored only child who from the young age of four was an avid outdoorsman you could find him on the lake in front of their home fishing on any given day when he wasn’t fishing he was catching turtles and selling them to the local pet store. As a young man Daren enjoyed fishing, hunting and being outdoors with his friends. As a youth, Daren played little league baseball, football and was on the Conroe Swim team, he also was a member of the orchestra playing the cello, in adolescence Daren had eclectic interests that ranged from sports, to music and the arts, he followed things of interest and intellect, by nature.

Daren was greeted and welcomed home by his Step Father John Ross (Jay Ross’s) Martin, Ill. along with his dear friends part of “The ‘04 Crew” Chase Bergfeld, and Daniel Werring.

In high School Daren attended The Academy at Conroe high school and graduated with the class of 2004. He was well liked, friendly kind, compassionate and always the voice of reason, especially within his very close group of guy friends “The ‘04 Crew.

After High School Daren studied at Texas A&M.

Daren was a lifelong resident of Conroe, Texas. In his adult life Daren joined the Catholic Church and began his faithful walk with God. He was proud of being a Christian and was always a good steward of the best humanity has to offer.

His nature and beautiful disposition found him helping his Mother as his Step-father’s illness progressed and his health failed. Daren was right there every step of the way for both of them. He was very close to Jay Ross and they spent countless hours in conversation, debate, listening to music, and in the company of one another. He was a wonderful help to his Mother and an amazing caregiver to Jay Ross. Daren was a good son and the apple of his Mother’s eye, they were very close.

Daren’s childhood friends wanted it known that he never had an unkind day in his life nor did he entertain gossip or hatred. Daren was truly a good soul, he always cared about people. Daren loved his Country and was an active Member in his community.

Daren, had a calming effect on people, he was logical in thought He loved his family and friends he always helped anyone who needed his talents as a tutor, people wanted Daren to weigh in on things, his perspective always gave them something to consider. He was a student of life and blessed with intellect. He was a voracious reader on almost every subject and loved learning new things, sometimes testing his aptitude at home, he was as innovative in his thoughts as he was in his experiments often performed at home.

Daren never stopped learning, he always appreciated life, he was interested in World events, respected other viewpoints even as he could not agree with them, he always respected another way of looking at an issue.

We have lost an intelligent, loyal, humble and loving part of lives, we take comfort in knowing that Daren is home with his savior, The Lord Jesus Christ.
