GLENN JOSEPH BEADLE
Glenn Joseph Beadle, 89, of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, passed away peacefully February 27. Born in Beaumont, Texas to Dallason and Roberta Beadle, he lived most of his life in Texas and Mississippi.
Glenn is survived by his wife Ruth of 66 years; daughter Glenda (Randy) Ross; grandchildren Jennifer (Michael) Gisburne, Jonathan (Michelle) Ross, Jacob Beadle, Levi Beadle, Savannah Beadle, Taylor (Matthew) Ciminski; nine great-grandchildren and many loving
nieces, nephews and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his brother Dalton and son Bruce.
He was a proud Texas A&M alumnus, graduating with a degree in petroleum engineering. Glenn was a decorated Korean War veteran, flying 72 missions in the F-86 fighter/bomber, earning the Distinguished Flying Cross. He worked in various capacities in the sales
and marketing field until his retirement in 2013.
Glenn loved golf, racquetball and animals, loved to joke and will be fondly remembered by family and friends.
A date and time for his memorial service is to be determined. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a no-kill animal shelter or to the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry in Glen Ellyn, Ill. where Glenn served as a volunteer.
