He attended Texas A&M and was a WWII Veteran in the Army Air Corp where he flew B-29s and B-17s. Besides flying planes, his biggest passion was tennis, which he played his entire life. At age 19 he was the Texas State champ and played competitively well into his 80s winning the senior games at age 89. Bob also enjoyed playing golf competitively and was an avid member of the El Paso Country Club. He enjoyed life to the fullest and always had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. He will be deeply missed by his children, Karen Folk, Pamela Bethscheider, and Elizabeth Suver, his grandchildren, Serena Heath, Todd Rossi, Michelle Rossi-Parkin, Morgan Suver, Madison Suver and Andrew Suver, his great grandson, Liam Heath, and his niece and nephew West and Katharine Harrington.
