Rodney Scott Roan

Rodney Scott Roan was born on December 19th, 1962 and passed away on August 1st, 2018 at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Carrollton.
Born in Garland, Texas he was the son of Alton and Joyce Roan. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering. He was self-employed, managing and working for his own company, Micron Cooling.
He was a member of the Hebron High School Band Prop-Crew and enjoyed spending time with his daughter and friends. He also enjoyed camping, boating, traveling, and going to the gun range. He will be remembered for his unyielding positivity and enthusiasm towards life in all its shapes and forms.
He is survived by his daughter Heather Roan, and his siblings Russel Roan, Janet Rogan, and Glenn Rogan.
The funeral service will be held on Sunday August 5th at 10:30 am at The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery in Dallas, TX.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to the American Red Cross.
