"Stephen F. Condon, age 78 of Brecknock Township, PA, passed away May 24, 2008 at 9:43 PM in St. Joseph Medical Center. He was a patient for eleven days. Stephen was born in Sioux City, Iowa to the late Stephen C. and Ethel (Savary) Condon. He was a graduate of Jacinto HS in Houston, TX and received a BA in electrical engineering from University of Houston. He was an electrical engineer that had several patents. Mr. Condon was employed by Lockheed Martin in Moorestown, NJ as unit manager for Combat Systems Division (AEGIS), and retired in 1995. He was a member of St. Benedict's RCC in Plowville, an active member of the South Jersey Radio Association (N2BNW), former Boy Scout leader Troop 117, Plymouth Meeting, member of Toastmasters and member of engineering societies IEEE and SID (Society for Information Display). Beloved husband of Marian J. (Harman) Condon; father of Stephen L. Condon of Seattle, Washington, Philip M., husband of Laurie Dobbs-Condon of Southampton, NJ, Christopher M., husband of Sherry Condon of Morgantown, WV, Margaret ""Peggy"" R. Condon-Vance, wife of Dennis Vance of Mohnton, PA, Ellen M. Condon of Silver Spring, MD; brother of Robert Condon of Houston, Texas, Dorothy (Condon) Abbey of Conroe, Texas, Eileen (Condon) Smith of Laguna Nigel, CA; grandfather of David, Andrew, Matthew, Susan, Stephanie, Heather, Ryan, and Megan. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Benedict's RCC, Plowville, Robeson Township, Saturday at 10:00 AM. Rev. Philip F. Rodgers celebrant. Interment: Gethsemane Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday, 8:30 to 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 625 West Ridge Pike, Suite A100, Conshohocken, PA 19428 in memory of Mr. Stephen F. Condon.
