Obituary for Kyle Bruce Owen
Kyle Bruce Owen, 60 of Gordon, passed away Wednesday July 11, 2018 in Ft. Worth. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church in Gordon with Rev. Michael Orsini officiating. Burial will follow in the New Gordon Cemetery directed by Edwards Funeral Home of Strawn. The family will receive friends at the Church Friday, 6~7:30 p.m.
Kyle was born November 16, 1957 in Mineral Wells, TX to James Owen and Patricia (Parker) Owen. After high school he received a Master’s Degree from Texas A&M University in Range Science. He was a rancher as well as a Methodist. He was a member of the Texas A&M Former Students Association and took great pride in being an Aggie. He married Selina Tipper on June 7, 2003 at P.K. Lake.
Survivors include his wife, Selina Owen of Lake Palo Pinto; a daughter, Wendi Laguardia and husband Mark of Newport Beach, CA; a sister, Robin Owen Booth of North Richland Hills, a nephew, James Booth; and niece, Marrin Booth; as well as many dear friends
