July 19, 1935 - July 9, 2018
[Carl] Eldon Cobb, 82, of Henrietta, Texas, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2018.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 12, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church in Henrietta with Rev. Patrick Hoffman, pastor of the First United Methodist Church and Retired Minister, Rev. Howell Martin, officiating. Burial will be at 2 P.M. in the Highland Cemetery in Iowa Park Texas under the direction of Davis Funeral Home in Henrietta.
Eldon was born on July 19, 1935 in Iowa Park, Texas to Carl and Goldie (Taylor) Cobb. He was a Texas A&M graduate and served his country in the US Army Reserve. He married Margie (Groves) Cobb on September 9, 1956 in Henrietta, Texas. Mr. Cobb was a Rancher all his life.
Eldon was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife Margie Cobb of Henrietta, Texas; sister, Nelda Monroe of Wichita Falls, Texas; nieces, Cindy Freeman of Wichita Falls, TX, Emily Freeman of Denton, TX, Lisa Grunditz of California, Karen Cox of Henrietta, TX, Susan Robinson of McKinney, TX; 2 nephews, Patrick Freeman of Burnet, TX, Bob Groves of Wylie, TX; Brother-in-law Kennard Groves of Henrietta, TX.
Visitation will be Thursday at the First United Methodist Church at 10 AM.
