Edward Templin~
HOUSTON: Edward Thomas Templin Jr., 88 . formerly of Yoakum, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018. He was born November 28, 1929 in Yoakum to the late Edward and Annie (Berger) Templin Sr.
He graduated from Yoakum High School, was a US Air Force Veteran, attended Texas A&M and was a member of Knights of Columbus. He retired from Shell Oil Company after 34 years of service.
Survivors are his daughter, Stacie Gallardo and husband John of Houston; sons, Kevin Templin and wife Rachel of Houston and Kelly Templin and wife Lisette of College Station; grandchildren, Kacey Templin, Kris Templin, Kristen Templin, Edward Templin III, Tory Templin, Trinity Templin, and Isabella Gallardo.
Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Louise (Ward) Templin, October 2015.
Rosary 4 p.m., Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Thiele Cooper Funeral Home in Yoakum.
Funeral Mass 10 a.m., Monday, July 2, 2018 at St. Ann Catholic Church with Rev. Matthew Huehlefeld officiating. Burial at St. Ann Catholic Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to St. Ann Catholic Church.
