Walter W.Toxey Jr. ARLINGTON--Dr. Walter W. Toxey Jr. died Saturday, June 30, 2018. FUNERAL: 3 p.m. Friday, July 6, at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Fort Worth. Dr. Toxey donated his body to UT Southwestern Medical School in honor of Dr. Mark Agostini, Associate
Professor of Neurology. Dr. Toxey held a Ph.D. in Political Science (UT Austin), J.D. (UT Law School), M.S. (Trinity U), and DVM (Texas A&M). He served as Bexar County Assistant District Attorney, was Director of Constitutional Research at the Louisiana State
Law Institute, and taught at: San Antonio College, Trinity U, Texas A&M Kingsville, U of New Orleans, and Texas Wesleyan U, where he held the Armstrong Endowed Professorship for 23 years. In the U.S. Army, he retired as full colonel from the Judge Advocate
General's Corps and served as Commanding Officer of the 48th Criminal Detachment and as Director of the U.S. Army School of Civil Affairs.
