Jimmy Dennis Czajkowski, 56
March 5, 1962 - July 1, 2018

Jimmy Dennis Czajkowski, 56 of Bremond passed away July 1, 2018 at St Jopseph Hospital in Bryan, TX. He was born to John A. and Leocadia (Kubiak) Czajkowski on March 5, 1962 in Marlin, TX.

Jimmy graduated from Texas A&M University in May 1994 with a B.S. degree in Nuclear Engineering. While he was at A&M, he instructed engineering students in Autocad. The skills he learned in Autocad were used often when he was building metal buildings. Instead of pursuing a traditional job in engineering, he chose to continue his career as a welder because he decided he could not work in an office every day. He wanted to be outside. For those that knew him, he was called “Boone” Jimmy Boone because he was like Daniel Boone.

In his younger days, Jimmy hunted and trapped animals for their pelts. Jimmy had a .22 rifle at an early age and was a marksman. He also spent many, many summers hauling hay. He loved to hunt and fish. He was a gardener and loved to can the vegetables he grew. Jimmy was a woodworker/carpenter and built his own home. He even went so far as to cut the trees that were used to make the wood paneling and cabinets throughout his house. He could make furniture and built his goddaughter Erica a one-of-a-kind island for her kitchen. Jimmy could fix anything.

When he operated CZ Construction he not only built metal buildings, he also welded farm equipment for local people. Jimmy loved to pick on his nieces and nephews unmercifully. He was intelligent, humble and as unique as they come and will be missed by many. He was a lifelong resident of Bremond and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jimmy is survived by:

Susie DuPriest of Mico
