June 18, 1964 - June 20, 2018
Died Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at the Heartland Health Care Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He was born June 18, 1964 in Chariton, Iowa the son of Philip and Carolyn Black. Shaun served in the United States Navy for three and a half years before receiving an honorable discharge. His love for computers lead him to a career in computer engineering where he worked for Hewitt-Packard and many other companies. Shaun will always be remembered for his love of golfing, bike riding, fishing and being an enormous dog lover. Survivors include his two parents: Philip and Carolyn Black; 2 sisters: Sonya (Todd) Hoevener, and Shana (Fabian) Polo; 4 Nieces and Nephews: Stephanie Polo, Joseph Hoevener, Christopher Polo, and Thomas Hoevener, many aunts, uncles and cousins, and his beloved Beagle Maggie. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents: Leo and Ida Black, and Jose and Carmen Martinez; one Uncle: Lonnie McMullen; and two Aunts: Tillie Peterson and LaNora Kirchmann. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
