William Randolph Hartley Jr.

William Randolph Hartley, Jr, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 26, 2018, at the age of 62 in his home in Round Rock, TX.

“Randy” was born on Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana to Billy and Grace Hartley on September 10, 1955. He was a graduate of Sam Rayburn High School in Pasadena and received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University (class of ‘77, Whoop!).

Randy married Cecelia “Cee” Eloise Canon, from Austin, TX, on September 29, 1979. Throughout his long career with HEB, he and Cee raised two daughters in and around the Austin area, settling in Round Rock in 1994. Along with his wife of more than 38 loving years Randy will be dearly missed by his eldest daughter, Kimberly Hartley, her husband Michael Barbee and their daughter Micaela, as well as his youngest daughter, Sharon “Chrissy” Flynt , her husband Josh and their sons Mason and Jaxon.

Randy is also survived by his brother, Wendell Hartley, his sister, Renee Clokey and his sister-in-law, Sharon Halligan along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A devoted husband and father, Randy valued his family above all else and made treasured memories at the grill, on the golf course and being an incredible “Gramps”/”Nick” to Micaela and Jaxon.

Private services will be held. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to a charity of choice in memory of Randy.
