Travis Lynn Booher
1969 - 2018

Travis Lynn Booher was born to Diana Millican and Travis Lee Booher in Shreveport, Louisiana. He grew up in Tyler, Texas graduating from Robert E. Lee High School in 1988. He followed in his father's footsteps and attended Texas A&M University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics in 1992 and a Master of Science in 1994.

Travis went to work at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange where he learned how to trade agricultural commodities. After several years in the agricultural business in Kansas and Texas, he pursued his dream of attending law school and graduated from South Texas College of Law in 2005. He returned to East Texas to practice oil, gas, and energy law and was a partner at Coghlan Crowson in Longview. He was proud to be one of only 378 attorneys in Texas to board certified in Oil, Gas and Mineral law.

Travis worked hard, played hard, and lived life to the fullest. He was a proud Aggie who loved his many friends, family, and dogs. He always had a funny story to tell and always had time for one more round of golf or another round of drinks. He was a deeply loyal man who went out of his way to help anyone who needed it and gave generously to local civic organizations and charities.

Travis passed away suddenly at home on May 29, 2018. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Lori Booher; parents, Diana Millican Booher and Travis Lee Booher; sister Tammy and Brent Viken; sister Suzanne Booher; sister Sarah Booher; nephews Hunter, Payne and Tate Viken; parents-in-law Jennie and Anthony Pasquale; sister-in-law Lisa Marie Pasquale and brother-in-law Ken Webb. He was predeceased by grandparents Oneas and Horace Booher and Sue and Ernest Millican.

He left us far too early and he will be missed every day by friends, colleagues, and family.

A celebration of Travis Lynn Booher's life will be held at Willow Brook Country Club on Friday June 1st from Noon - 1:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Therapet, P.O. Box 130118, Tyler, Texas 75713; Marvin United Methodist Church, 300 W Erwin St, Tyler, TX 75702 or the organization of your choice.
