Wayne Noster was born on January 20, 1942 in Corpus Christi, TX. His parents were Manford F. and Anita E. Cox Noster. He passed from this earth to his heavenly home on May 19, 2018. He fought a lengthy and courageous battle with Lyme’s disease, which caused
him to spend the last seventeen years in a wheelchair and in constant pain. Wayne met his wife of 54 years Trina, at church in Houston. They went together four years and married when they both graduated from college. Wayne attended Texas A&M and graduated
in 1964 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. During his time at Texas A&M, he was part of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band and was the head drum major his senior year. After graduating, he joined the U.S. Airforce and was commissioned as an officer. He spent
three years in San Antonio at the Electrical Security Command. His fourth and final year in the Air Force, he and his family spent in Elgin AFB, Florida. Their 1st son Troy was born there. After ending his tour of duty, he and his family returned to A&M and
he earned his Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. Wayne and his family then moved back to San Antonio and his 2nd son Sean was born. He returned to the Electrical Security Command and there he spent the next 32 years as a civilian on security hill.
Many hours were spent by the family and friends on Lake LBJ and Rockport. The whole Noster clan are very good fisherman. To many a contest was a part of the fishing trip. The time on the water was enjoyable by all. Wayne served his Lord God, his family and
his country with much love and pride. He is preceded in death by his son, Sean Noster. Wayne is survived by his loving wife Trina Noster; son, Troy Noster; sister, Nita Phythian and husband Mike; sister-in-law, Lynn Hicks; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins
and friends. The family would like to give a special thanks to the doctors and nurses on the 4th floor burn unit at BAMC/SAMMC and also to the surgeons, Dr. Chong and Dr. Mitchell, for the loving care and support. Service were held at Mission Park Funeral
Chapels North and interment took place at Mission Burial Park North with Airforce Honors.
