Willard Kenneth Hutto, aged 82, formerly of Missouri City, Texas, died Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Sodalis Senior Living in San Marcos, Texas. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 30, 2018, at 10:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m., at Houston's First Baptist Church at Sienna, 4309 Sienna Pkwy, Missouri City, Texas 77459. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Grand View Memorial Park, 8501 Spencer Hwy Pasadena, Texas 77505 under the direction of Carnes Brothers Funeral Home of Galveston.

Ken was born October 29, 1935 in Amarillo, Texas, to the late Jewel Otis Hutto and the late Geneva Palestine Work. As a child, he was active in the Maverick Club and later went to Amarillo High School where he met his high school sweetheart, Patsy Ann Kelley, and married her August 21, 1954 in Tucumcari, New Mexico. She predeceased him in 2012.

Ken played basketball for Texas A&M and received his degree in Business there in the 1950s. He was always a big fan of the Aggies throughout his life, and enjoyed the jokes as well. After starting his family, he made time to coach his sons and other youth in sports, especially baseball. As he got older, golfing became his favorite pastime. He worked much of his life in the banking business, but retired a few years ago from Frost Bank, where he was a small business lender.

He is survived by his son Neil Hutto and wife, Kim, of Deer Park, Texas; son Jeff Hutto and wife, Dana, of Huffman, Texas; son Joel Hutto of Dripping Springs, Texas; granddaughter, Alice Ann Hutto Aillet and husband, Lance, of Deer Park, Texas; grandson, Michael Hutto and wife, Jennefer, of Rockwall, Texas; grandson, Andrew Hutto and wife, Cede, of San Antonio, Texas; granddaughter Taylor Hutto of Deer Park, Texas; great granddaughter Emmalyn Aillet, great grandson Jackson Aillet, both of Deer Park, Texas; and great granddaughter Emmerson Hutto of Rockwall, Texas.

Memorials may be sent to Houston's First Baptist Church at Sienna, 4309 Sienna Pkwy, Missouri City, Texas 77459.
