Mark W. Kosel, age 58 of Belton, died Saturday, April 21, 2018 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 5:00pm Friday, April 27, 2018 at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors from 5:30-7:00pm Thursday, April 26, 2018, with recitation
of the Rosary at 7:00pm at the funeral home.
Mark William Kosel was born on April 1, 1960 in Temple, Texas to Angeline Roessler Kosel and Raymond Kosel. He attended schools in Temple and graduated from Temple High School in 1978. He attended Texas A&M University and received a degree in Mechanical Engineering
in 1984. Mark worked for over 30 years for Texas Hydraulics. He married Letti Lim in LaGrange, Texas on May 28, 2015.
Mark loved being outdoors, fishing, horseback riding, cycling and dancing. He was an avid reader, was a humble, brilliant person and loved Texas Aggie football. He was also a master chess player.
Survivors include his wife, Letti Lim-Kosel of Belton; his parents, Angeline and Raymond Kosel of Temple; one son, Kennedy Lim of Belton; a sister, Karen Kleypas and husband Matt of Temple; four brothers, David Kosel and wife Lana of Arlington, Steven Kosel
and wife Lisa of Cedar Park, Michael Kosel of Temple and Chris Kosel and wife Martha of Dallas; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Mark’s name to the Ronald McDonald House Charities Temple Texas, 2415 S. 47th Street, Temple, Texas 76504 (http://www.rmhc-temple.org/).
