Leora Ann Danks Busker, 76, passed away on November 2, 2014 in the Evanston Regional Hospital.
She was born on February 2, 1938 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Elmer William and Virginia (Dannah) Danks. She was married to David L. Busker.
Leora was highly educated and spent most of her career as a secondary education teacher in the Natrona County School District in Casper. She taught Math and Science at East Jr. High. Her favorite teaching assignment was the Pregnant Girls Program, which she
founded, first at Roosevelt High, and later at Kelly Walsh High. She was a wonderful teacher who loved each and every one of her students.
She enjoyed genealogy, quilting, and traveling in her RV during her summers. She had visited many historical sites with her grandchildren and was working on visiting every state. She served two LDS missions in Washington with her husband.
Leora will be dearly remembered by her husband; her brother, Paul H. Danks (Sharon); her daughter, Nola A. Cutts; her grandchildren, Stephanie, Paul, Betsy, Sam and George; and her great-granddaughter, Amanda. She also leaves behind numerous other loving relatives
and friends who will miss her friendly smiles and generous spirit.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Darlene Danks; her son-in-law, George G. Cutts; and her great-granddaughter, Grace.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Second Ward Chapel, 251 Elm Street, Evanston.
