Connie Fay Jett
Connie Fay Jett, 83, of Chandler, Texas passed away, Monday, April 23, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family.
A viewing will begin at 10:00am, Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Westlake Baptist Church, 1439 FM 315, Chandler, Texas. Services will begin at 11:00am, officiated by Brother Bob Sexton. Burial to be held at Grove Hill Memorial Park, 3920 Samuel Blvd, Dallas, Texas.
Connie was born January 14, 1935 in Dallas, Texas to Lena and Robert Jett. He graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in 1952, joined the US Army in 1954 and then went on to graduate from Texas A & M University in 1959. On April 3, 1954 he married Neta Chambless in Rockwall, Texas. Connie was employed as a civil engineer for the Texas Highway Department. He was an avid bowler and fisherman.
Connie is survived by his wife Neta of 64 years, son Mike, daughter Kelly Pond and her husband Scott; 4 grandchildren, Brandy (Josh), Brad (Krista), Lauren (Eise Niko), Dustin (Colleen); and 9 great grandchildren.
In memory of Connie the family requests that a donation be made to Hospice of East Texas.
