Billy Lee Dickenson
August 8, 1924 - March 5, 2018

Billy Lee Dickenson passed away March 5, 2018. He was born August 8, 1924 to parents John and Georgia Dickenson in Warsaw Missouri. He served in the U.S. Army from 1942-1945 in WWII and received a Bronze Star for heroism. Billy graduated from Texas A&M in 1950 with a degree in Civil Engineering. He worked for the Texas Highway Department for 37 years in the Wichita Falls District. Billy was the District Design Engineer for the Wichita Falls District. In Wichita Falls he was a member of the Optimist Club and attended Floral Heights UMC. Billy was preceded in death by his wife Audrey Catherine Dickenson and son John William Dickenson. He is survived by his sister, Sue Williams and nephew David Williams of Belton Texas; daughter, Claire Horton and husband Dale Horton; granddaughters, Donna Keen and (Dallas), Lesley Wood and (Chad), Rachel Stogner and (Blake); great granddaughters, Emily and Harper Wood, Sydney and Finley Stogner. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Little Bethel Memorial Park in Duncanville, Dr. Frank Alegria officiating.
