Karl Lynn Sinclair

Graveside service for Karl Lynn Sinclair age 80, of Norman, Oklahoma will be at 3:00 P.M., Sunday March 4, 2018, at the Tipton Cemetery, Tipton, Oklahoma with Chaplains Kim and Gregory Pierce officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick. Mr. Sinclair left this earth on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, in Norman, Oklahoma.

Karl was born June 13, 1937, in Mt. Pleasant, Texas, to Kenith C. and Emma (Willtrout) Sinclair. He was a proud graduate of Texas A&M, Class of 1959. Upon graduation he went to work for Mobil Oil Company in Marketing in Houston and, during his employment, was transferred to Tulsa, Oklahoma, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and New York. Upon his return to Newalla, Oklahoma in 1973, he went to work for Harrison Levy Company in Commercial Real Estate, with a successful 37-year career.

He is survived by his wife, Carmen Goodspeed-Sinclair of the home; three daughters, Donna Edwards and husband Otis of Choctaw, Oklahoma, Lisa Early and husband Robert of Foyil, Oklahoma and Karla Reiter of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two step-sons, Steve Milford of Newalla, Oklahoma and David Goodspeed and wife Suzanne of Norman, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren, Teresa Hartsell, Elena Morales, Sydney Roberts, Shelby Honeysuckle, Robert Early, Stephanie Kimbell, Collin Power, Rylee Goodspeed and Michael Wintory; three great-grandchildren, MacRae and Katie Hartsell and Wesley Kimbell; two sisters, Berniece Edwards of Waco, Texas and Sue Sterling of Longview, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Karl was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Chester and Clitis Sinclair; his wife, Doris Milford Sinclair; and a step-daughter, Lisa Goodspeed Wintory.

The family would like to thank his private caregivers and Centennial Hospice for their excellent care.
