March 12, 1939 ~ January 24, 2018 (age 78)

Wales Vance Wible, 78, of Amarillo, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2018.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 29, 2018 at Schooler Funeral Home’s Brentwood Chapel. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St., Amarillo.

Wales was born on March 12, 1939 in Amarillo to Denver and Alma Wible. He graduated Amarillo High School in 1957. He was a 1962 graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration and Masters of Accounting. Wales married Rudene Stone on January 26, 1963 in Amarillo. He was a CPA tax accountant with Pioneer and Atmos before his retirement. Wales was a pilot, receiving his student’s pilot license before his driver’s license. He is now a “silent key” – call sign KU5G. He enjoyed skydiving, having 31 plus jumps, scuba diving, slalom water skiing, camping and hiking, and road trips on motorcycles. His passion was always to provide for his wife and children, which he did very well.

Wales was preceded in death by an infant son, Adam Wible, infant twins David and Deanna Wible; and his parents.

Wales is survived by his wife Rudene; his son “Alex” Alexander Wible and fiancée Anita Maestas of Amarillo; and his daughter, DeAndra Marie of Arizona.
