Albert “Chip” George Ollre IV

Albert “Chip” George Ollre IV, resident of Richmond, TX, passed away with his family by his side on Sunday February 4, 2018. His last words were “I love you all.” All of the lives he touched knew him to be a man full of joy and laughter. He always had a smile on his face and he never met a stranger. Chip was an intelligent, witty, passionate man who greatly contributed to the artificial lift industry. Prior to the last 4 years working for GE, Chip created several patents during his 22 years as a petroleum engineer at Schlumberger. He graduated from Texas A&M in 1984 and was a proud Aggie all of his days. Chip had a huge love for sports and was well traveled, enjoying food from all over the world.

Chip was a wonderful story teller and always the life of the party. He will be remembered for his infectious joy and love for people and the Lord. He was a faithful generous man who was wise with his money. Chip was a hard worker and provided well for his family. His passing was sudden, his body just gave out on him and he went to be with the Lord. His corneas, bone marrow, and skin tissue were donated to further his generosity and love for others in his passing.

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Priscilla Ollre. As well as his children; Allison, Christin and George ; son-in-law’s Brian and Drew; his parents Net and A.G. Ollre III; his brothers Guiton and Channon. He is also survived by several sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. He was a well loved man who will be greatly missed.

A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, February 10 at 11:00 a.m. at The Vineyard Church of Sugar Land at 5015 Grove W Blvd, Stafford, TX 77477 with a reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to Chip's church through cash or check payable to The Vineyard Church of Katy, 615 S. Mason Rd, Katy, TX 77450, or you can donate through the link below.
